ASME Journals Impact Increases ASME Journals Impact Increases ASME Journals Impact IncreasesJuly 28, 2017 Expanding its profile as a leader in the scholarly publishing of mechanical engineering subjects, ASME is pleased to announce that its journal portfolio has experienced significant increases in both the number of citations and the Journal Impact Factor (JIF).According to the 2017 Journal Citation Reports, published by Clarivate Analytics last month, the total number of ASME journal citations in 2016 increased 37 percent over 2015 data.ASME journals benefited from similar increases last year in terms of the highly-regarded Journal Impact Factor, which reflects how highly cited the average article published in a particular journal is relative to others in its field or discipline.
